Happy New Year!

Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year! Here’s a quick round up of what happened in December at CB Fitness, and what’s to come this year!

      Christmas Gym Group

The final session of the year before Christmas was a huge success, filled with festive fun and cheer! Both staff and clients embraced the holiday spirit by turning up in Christmas-themed clothes. We enjoyed a Christmas-themed workout set to Christmas music, which kept the energy high throughout the session. Everyone worked incredibly hard and had a lot of fun, making it a fantastic way to end the year.

          New Equipment

We are pleased to announce the arrival of some new equipment in the gym. Our new machines include the leg press, hamstring curl, and leg extension. These additions will greatly benefit our clientele, particularly those starting their fitness journey, as they remove the need for stability and balance – which can often be a struggle at the beginningThis allows our clients to focus purely on building strength and mastering the movement patterns first before building.

              Client Goals

To kick off the new year, one of our clients has set a new goal: to climb Mount Snowdon. They will be working closely with Craig, Jade, and Rosa focusing on a specific plan to build the necessary strength and endurance over the coming months. We are incredibly excited to support him on this journey, especially as Craig will be joining him on the hike as well.

                What’s to come in 2026?

Focusing on the year 2026, CBfitness plans to measure success not by expanding our business physically, but by significantly deepening the service and value we offer to our clientele. We aim to achieve this by strengthening and diversifying our current group offerings and proactively liaising with external agencies and other professionals. This collaborative approach will enable us to grow the supportive, holistic community we are committed to building for our clients.

In addition to expanding our community focus, we are continuing to invest heavily in our own personal development. We have upcoming training focusing on areas such as first aid, as well specialised training on the impacts of amputation and prosthetics on strength and conditioning and in service training on subjects just as diet and psychology around brain injury. Our core commitment is to deliver the highest quality service to every client. We prioritise creating an environment where everyone who enters our space feels safe, acknowledged, and valued.
